He was born and raised in Rameswaram, Tamil Nadu. Despite being from a poor background, He excelled in the field of Physics and Aerospace Engineering. He was titled the Missile Man of India because of his unparalleled contribution towards the Modernisation of Indian Defence and Aerospace Technology. He also served as the 11th President of India. Unlike other presidents, he has always been unique and strong in his ways of work.
He has achieved a lot of honorary titles which include Padma Bhushan, Padma Vibhushan, and also India’s highest civilian honor, the Bharat Ratna, for his contribution to the scientific research and modernization of defense technology in India. Despite all these, He has always been very modest and humble.
Sadly, He passed away on 27th July, 2015 due to cardiac arrest while delivering a Lecture on “Creating a Livable Planet Earth”, proving what he said “Till my last breath I will be with the students, motivating them for future development”.
He has inspired Billions of people including me with his relentless hard work, dedication and commitment, And he will continue to motivate us and inspire us and the future generations to dream big, follow them and turn them into reality, no matter what.
He has been a great teacher, a great personality and more over a great human being and he always will be.
He is a great Visionary. He is a True legend.
He is Avul Pakir Jainulabdeen Abdul Kalam.
His Loss is deeply mourned and is irreplaceable.
